Annual Boating Trip

This year we got to go to Flaming Gorge to go boating. It was so fun! I love that lake. We left Friday late afternoon and got there around seven which was perfect. It was still light but it was starting to cool off so we could put up our tent with out dying of heat. My grandma and grandpa Jackson and my parents and Anj and James were there too. We had so much fun. Saturday was warm in the morning but right after Evy got done swimming at like 10:30 AM it got cold and rainy and we got off the lake to just play at camp. It was still fun though. The kids played in the dirt and us adults all got to chat for a while. Mike, and I and my grandparents even stayed up way late talking that night while looking at all the beautiful stars. It was so nice to talk with them for a while. Sunday was great too! We got up took our time getting out on the lake, it got hot enough for me to get in the water (which was the first time ever swimming pregnant) and after the initial shock of the cold water on Aiden he settled down enough so I could breath and then the swimming was amazing! No pressure of any kind, no pain, no weight. It was wonderful. I didn't want to get out. We all got in a swam with our little water baby Evy, who will be in the water for hours if allowed and doesn't seem to realize the temperature of water. She just loves swimming so much. We even got Ethan in for a few seconds. He loved to kick his feet but getting in the water with how cold it was he didn't care much for it. We got off the lake later that day around 5. Went to camp where luckily we torn down our tent and had everything ready to go that morning so we could just relax. We had an amazing dinner and headed home. Drove through some pretty scary rain storms but got home safe and sound around 10:30 that night. Put the kids right to bed since they were passed out anyway unloaded the perishables out of the car and went to bed. Our nice relaxing vacation really took it out of us but it was so fun and I loved every minute of it. I look forward to boating every year and this year was awesome.

My water baby!

Ethan was loving watching Evy swim.

Evy loves to swim with her Grandpa. He makes it so fun for her.

Ethan loved the boat!

James even took some time to to a bit of rock climbing. He got up pretty high too.

That is him at the top of the cliff he was climbing.
