Flying kites

So we live right by a little park but there is a bigger park that is like a 10 minute walk and the walk is great. Its all back trails and just fun and relaxing and quiet so one saturday we decided to take the kids to the park and fly kites. It was such a nice day and there was a slight breeze which was great. We got to the park and the kids flew some kites and Ethan was nice enough to share with Aiden who did really good at flying the kite till the wind got stronger and the kite just took off. Whoever said that kites fall when you let go of the string lied. We watched that kite fly over ten houses and disappear never to be seen again. Kinda sad but luckily Ethan was done and just wanted to play on the playground. We had packed a lunch and had a picnic and just enjoyed spending time together. One of the more pleasant days we had had in a while.

And that is where aiden stayed. He loved watching the kites fly all around him.

On the way home Aiden fell asleep on Ethans hand. It was so cute I just had to get a picture. I sure love my boys.
