Christmas Vacation

Sunday morning my parents showed up to take Evy to Bear Lake so I could have a seat in the back of our car by Aiden when we left home. She was so excited to go with them, it was pretty cute. After she left I cleaned the house since there was a weeks worth of mess, since we were in the hospital. After I got it all cleaned we packed up the bags and headed out with Aiden and Ethan. Luckily we timed it perfectly and left right after Aiden ate so he slept the whole way there and Ethan played on his Ipod and slept some of the way. We got there right before dinner and we were able to spend the rest of the night talking and playing games and watching movies. We were always keeping a really close eye on Aiden and he just loved being held by everyone. The next day was Christmas Eve. We had a wonderful breakfast and then made sugar cookie mix. While that was cooling we watched a movie and strung popcorn and cranberries for our home made tree. That was a ton of fun and Evylee even got the hang of the cranberries. We then made popcorn balls to hang on the tree. It turned out really pretty. Then we decided to decorate the ginger bread houses. That was a lot of fun and Aiden and Evylee had a blast. We all played games and enjoyed the day. After dinner we decorated sugar cookies and then opened our pajamas and put the kids to bed. We watched a movie and then once the kids were asleep Santa showed up and set out all the presents and ate the cookies we made for him. It was a great day! and I was so excited for the next morning. The kids woke up at about 6:30. I fed Aiden and he went back to sleep while we opened presents. It was so fun to see the reactions of the kids and I loved every minute of it! The rest of the day was spent with the kids playing with all their new toys and us adults played all the new board games. Including Bass Ackwards, 20 questions, Sort it Out, and Trivial Pursuit. My grandma and grandpa simper came later that day and we got to spend time with them for a few hours too. It was such a great christmas. I loved spending it with family. The next day we just all hung out and played games and later that night we all went to my Uncle Terrys house and spent some time there just visiting and Mike and my uncle went downstairs and played their guitar and bass and we all just enjoyed seeing each other. On Thursday we headed out around noon so we could get home early. We stopped off at my Uncles house to say goodbye to them and my grandparents. We were able to spend a little time there and then we headed home so we could get there before dark. After Colton, my cousin, and my uncle and some stranger pushed us out of their driveway we headed home. We got home and unloaded the car and still had time to rest and relax before bed. It was a wonderful vacation and I loved every minute of it!
