Thanksgiving Trip

So on Thanksgiving we woke up bright and early at 6 and were out of the house by 7. We had about a 5 hour drive to get up to Grandma Colliers house. We got on the freeway and with in a few minutes Evylee had to go to the bathroom. So we pulled off at a gas station, got some breakfast and some snacks. By the time we were back on the road with all our stops it was 8 and we had just made it to Sandy. Which usually only takes 20 minutes to get to. So then we buckled down and drove. The kids were great. We stopped in Brigham City and got them some coloring books and crayons and they pretty much colored all the way there. Aiden slept most of the way. We only had to stop once and feed him. It was a pretty easy drive considering the amount of time. We ended up getting to Grandmas house at about 1. We were able to meet Mikes cousin, Brooke, and her family from Hawaii. They are such nice people and I really loved getting to know her and talk to her. Audrey and Matt and Gammie and Potts also went to Grandmas house. We cooked dinner and had it ready by 4:30. It was spectacular! Everything was to die for and it was that much better because we were with family. The kids loved playing and Evylee even played foot ball with the boys. It was pretty cute. We hung out until we all had pie and left for home at about 6 that night. The drive back was also pretty easy. The kids played on ipods till they fell asleep and Aiden slept the whole way home. It was a really good day and we enjoyed spending it with family.

On the way home Ethan was very attached to his water bottle. He fell asleep cuddling to it and would not let it go the whole way home. Pretty funny.

Yay. I am so excited it is working again!!!

Looks like so much fun Dez! I can't believe how big Aiden is getting! He looks a lot bigger, I definitely need to see him asap! I'm glad the drive down went well for you guys.
