We love our house and even more we love our neighborhood! On Sunday when we went to our ward it was exactly how I thought coming into a new ward should be. Everyone was so nice and so happy to see us and the bishop was so excited to meet us and have us in the ward and on top of that there were 2 other families that were new to the ward too. I love our new ward. On the 24th we were outside on the deck while Mike was mowing the lawn and we had 2 of our neighbors come over and introduce themselves. We met Heidi and Amanda. They were so nice and conversation with them and their husbands flowed really easily. They were so nice and happy to see that we had a cute little family. Later that night we all went outside to enjoy some fire works that the neighbors from across the street were doing. They did sparklers and smoke bombs till it got dark. Unfortunately, at one point they lit a smoke bomb and threw it in the road so it could go off but Ethan thought it was a ball and chased after it and picked it up just as it went off. Burnt his thumb pretty good. It looked worse then it was cause of all the color on his finger. He sat on Mikes lap the rest of the night with his thumb in a cup of cold water. He did fall asleep on Mike which was good. So the firework show turned into a huge production. We had the one family that invited us to come watch then as we started watching more families from down the street brought all their fireworks and everything went off all together each time. It was so fun. We met a bunch of new people and most of them sat in our yard to watch, which I loved, and after it was all over we had one family come over and talk with us for like and hour and a half. The mom and her 4 kids, who are all older, were all sitting in our driveway and we were just all chatting. It was so much fun. We are truly blessed to live in such a tight knit neighborhood. :)
