Tuesday the 7th we got up early and went to the zoo before mike had to go to work at 2. I have been wanting to take Evylee and Ethan to the zoo since it got warm outside. Evylee was so excited to go see the baby "heffalump" as she calls the elephants. So that was the first place we went. We saw the monkeys and tigers and giraffes too. We also went to the bird show they did there. It was pretty cool. The birds would fly real close to our heads and they had some that talked and did tricks. Evylee loved the show and Ethan kept trying to get down so he could grab the birds. We were pretty close to the front and it was cool to see the details on the birds. It was a very fun day and I enjoyed every minute of it with my family :)
